Le mie prime Radio ---------------- My first Radio

Breve storia su come è nata la passione per la radio e della mia attività radiantistica

Ho iniziato grazie a mio padre che nel lontano 1957 acquistò un ricevitore casalingo della Telefunken mod. T32 (è ancora oggi presente nel mio shack) con il quale ascoltavo prevalentemente le emissioni in lingua italiana delle brodcasting e qualche radioamatore in 40mt.....Poco tempo dopo esattamente nel periodo natalizio mio nonno visto che la radio per me era un mondo nuovo da scoprire mi regalò un vecchio walkie-talkie post bellico .

Dopo qualche anno in occasione di una festa di compleanno mi furono regalati due walkie-talkie per la banda dei 27Mhz,che dopo qualche mese sostitui con un Sommerkamp FR-50 noto ricevitore per bande radiantistiche per ascoltare in particolare i 40 mt. frequentatissimi da molti OM che trasmettevano in AM ,affiancato poco dopo da un Sommerkamp FT-277B .

Nel 1965 chiesi l'autorizzazione (SWL) all'ascolto delle Onde corte e delle bande radioamatoriali che ottenni poco dopo e con la quale mi fu possibile chiedere il permesso di installare le antenne sul terrazzo condominiale .

Spinto dal notevole e crescente interesse per la radio ed l'elettronica in genere nel 1973 sostenni gli esami per ottenere la patente radioamatoriale , ed la richiesta di rilascio di nominativo I8WES che arrivò dopo qualche mese di attesa .....(circa tredici).

Sono particolarmente attivo sulle gamme HF oggi in particolare sulle bande WARC alla ricerca di qualche "new one" e nuove isole valide per lo IOTA .

Inoltre sono sempre all'erta sulle gamme VHF (50-144Mhz) via TROPO , e per lavorare i tanto attesi "E" sporadici e per collegamenti in MS (ovviamente nel periodo degli sciami) .

I started with my father, who in 1957 bought a home receiver Telefunken mod. T32 (it is still present in my shack) with whom he primarily listened to the emissions of brodcasting in Italian and in some amateur 40mt ..... Shortly after my grandfather just at Christmas time because the radio was for me a world new to discover he gave me an old walkie-talkie after the war.

After a few years at a birthday party I had given away two walkie-talkies for the bandwidth of 27Mhz, which after a few months to replace a known receiver Sommerkamp FR-50 bands to listen to amateur radio in particular the 40 mt. OM frequented by many who transmitted in AM, joined shortly afterwards by a Sommerkamp FT-277B.

In 1965 I asked permission (SWL) shortwave listening and amateur bands that I got soon after, and with whom I could ask permission to install antennas on the roof pool.

Driven by substantial and growing interest in radio and electronics in general in 1973 sustained the exams to get the amateur radio license, and the request for issuance of I8WES name that came after several months of waiting .....( about thirteen) .

They are particularly active on the HF bands today and in particular on the WARC bands looking for some "new one" and new islands valid for IOTA.

They are also always on the alert on VHF range (50-144MHz) via Trop, and work for the long-awaited "E" and sporadic connections in MS (during the course of the showers).
